An independent helpdesk for air travelers
Who we are, why Air Support Desk exists, how our guides are researched, and why we stay independent of every airline.

Who We Are
Air Support Desk LLC is a small, independent editorial company based in Norman, Oklahoma, working with contributors across several time zones. We publish one thing: structured answers to air travel problems.
The team is deliberately made of people who have worked inside the system, former cabin crew and ground staff, corporate travel managers, and researchers who are comfortable reading a conditions-of-carriage document end to end.
Our Mission
Give every traveler a clear answer to a specific air travel question in under a minute, anywhere in the world, without selling them anything.
That constraint is the product. It determines how long a guide can be, how it is structured, and what we refuse to publish.
Why We Created Air Support Desk
Travel answers exist, but they are scattered across fare rules written for lawyers, forum threads written for enthusiasts, and call centre queues that open when you are already at the gate.
We built the Desk because the moment a traveler needs help is the moment they have the least time and the least patience. A helpdesk should meet them there.
Editorial Philosophy
Answer first. Explain second. Never promise an outcome that depends on somebody else's discretion.
We would rather publish eighty per cent of an answer that a reader can act on immediately than a hundred per cent that buries the useful part in paragraph nine.

How Content Is Researched
Research starts with the authority that sets the rule, a border agency, an aviation regulator, or the carrier's own published conditions. Secondary coverage is used only to find leads.
Where a rule varies between carriers, we check at least three before describing anything as usual practice. Where practice is inconsistent, we say so rather than averaging it into a false certainty.
Why We Stay Airline Neutral
We take no advertising from airlines, no affiliate commission on bookings, and no payment for placement. There is no commercial reason for us to soften a description of a bad policy.
Neutrality is also practical: travelers arrive with the airline they already booked. A guide is only useful if it works regardless of which logo is on the boarding pass.
How We Keep Information Updated
Every guide carries a review date. Fast-moving topics, document and entry requirements above all, are reviewed on a shorter cycle than stable topics such as airport navigation.
Reader reports trigger immediate review. When a correction is made, it is dated and noted on the page rather than quietly rewritten.
The Meaning Behind Air Support Desk
Air is everything related to flying. Support is practical help. Desk is one organized place where travelers quickly find answers.
Put together, the name is also the promise: have a travel question, open the Desk, find an answer in one minute.
