Our Values

The five principles that decide what we publish and how we publish it.

Clarity Over Completeness

A complete answer nobody can read under pressure is a failed answer. We would rather publish the eighty per cent that solves the problem than the hundred per cent that buries it.

Independence Over Access

We do not trade coverage for commercial relationships. If a policy is bad for travelers, we describe it plainly, whoever operates it.

Honesty About Uncertainty

Some travel outcomes depend on discretion. We distinguish between what is required, what is usual and what is possible, and we never promise a result we cannot support.

Structure as a Service

Consistent structure is not a design preference. It is what lets a stressed reader skip straight to the part they need.

Global by Default

We write for travelers in every region, not for one market with footnotes for everyone else.
