Company Culture

How a small, distributed editorial team actually works.

Written, Asynchronous, Calm

We are a writing organisation, so we work in writing. Decisions are documented, meetings are rare and short, and nobody is expected to be available outside their own working hours.

Craft Over Volume

We publish fewer guides than a content operation of our size normally would. A guide is finished when a reader under pressure can act on it, not when a word count is reached.

Correction Without Blame

Everyone gets something wrong eventually. Reporting an error in your own work is treated as good practice, and the correction process is designed to be quick and unembarrassing.

Distributed by Design

The team works across several time zones, which is an editorial advantage: travel rules are regional, and so is the experience needed to explain them.
