Editorial Opportunities

Freelance and contributor routes into the Air Support Desk editorial team.

Contributor Guides

We commission individual guides from specialists, former crew, ground staff, immigration practitioners and experienced corporate travel managers, who know one topic deeply.

Commissions are paid per guide, follow our published four-part structure, and go through the same two-person review as staff work.

What We Look For

A strong contributor application usually shows three things.

  • Direct operational experience with the topic proposed.
  • The ability to write a correct answer in under 150 words.
  • Comfort citing primary sources rather than other articles.

How to Pitch

Send one question you believe travelers get wrong, your quick answer to it, and three solutions in note form. That is a complete pitch and takes about fifteen minutes to write.
